This course helps participants understand the risks associated with High-Alert Medications (HAMs), including concentrated solutions and look-alike/sound-alike (LASA) medications. It introduces internationally recognized medication safety practices based on the WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge. Participants will learn to establish a HAM safety team, develop standardized processes, and train staff to manage HAMs effectively.
